Overview
B.B.A (Tourism) or Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism is an
Under-Graduate Travel and Tourism course. Tourism includes a study of tourism
management, tourism development, tourism marketing, transportation industry,
hotel management, etc. The Bachelor of Business Administration course in
Tourism covers the study of topics such as tourist resort planning, food
service management, ecology, environment and tourism, intercultural
communication, etc.
The Bachelor of Business Administration course in Tourism has great value and
importance in today’s time as tourism became the hub of economic development
of every country. Graduates of the Bachelor of Business Administration course
in Tourism find a lot of jobs both in India and outside it.
PO1: To provide a learning environment to the students so that they can pursue careers in different domains of tourism management..
PO2: To develop the conceptual framework of tourism in the students and create a know how of all the sectors of tourism.
PO3: To provide exposure to real life work experiences and hands-on-practice by participation in various training’s/internships.
PO4: : To enhance the technical skills among the students, training is provided for CRS & GDS platforms.
PO5: : To sensitize the students so that they can appreciate the heritage and tourism resources of India and the world.

4. Students undergo through different Co-curricular activities and Vocational training
intermediate or equivalent examination. General and OBC candidates must have secured at least 50% of marks and SC & ST Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 45% in aggregate of total marks.
