ABOUT DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY
Diploma in Pharmacy from Sherwood College of Pharmacy is a career oriented, entry level
diploma course. Students who plan to pursue a long term career in pharmaceuticals opt
for this course as pharmacy continues to be a very promising field of medicine.
The program prepares students to work as a licensed pharmacist in hospitals,
community pharmacies and other pharmaceutical-related fields. On successful
completion of the diploma, the student applies to the council and is awarded
the status of a registered / licensed pharmacist.
Intermediate or equivalent examination with PCM/PCB Application as a subject. General and OBC candidates must have secured at least 50% of marks and SC & ST candidates should have obtained a minimum of 45% in aggregate of total marks.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIESOn successful completion of the diploma course one can work in various public and private sector institutions as pharmacist, quality analyst or production executives. Diploma holders can also opt for higher studies through lateral entry in B.Pharma second year.
